Explaining Social Media through Chocolate

Twitter_follow_me

Lots of people are always asking us why & how we use social media. The truth is that we just make it up as we go along & we learn something new everyday ('Everyday's a school day & everyone's a teacher' as my dad used to say!).

Here is our guide to some of the major social media platforms & their uses explained through chocolate.

Use Twitter to tell people when you are eating #chocolate
Use Facebook to tell people you 'Like' eating chocolate
Use Instagram to make your photos of chocolate look cool
Use Posterous to blog about all your chocolate eating
Use Foursquare to tell people where you are eating chocolate
Use Youtube to show people how you eat your chocolate
Use Pinterest to show everyone your favourite chocolate recipes
Use Audioboo to let everyone listen to you eating chocolate

If we have missed any let us know...

Ramsbottom Festival 2012 Lineup

The Ramsbottom Festival (not to be confused with the now infamous Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival) returns this year to Ramsbottom Cricket Club from 14th - 16th September.

Together with friends, staff & customers I have spent the last few days trying to predict some of the lineup for this years festival. This culminated in me harassing one of the festival organisers, Jamie Scahill (@JamieScahill) last night over a beer & a game of pool.

If any bands have yet been confirmed Jamie was not for saying. So in the absence of any hard facts we decided to use our detective skills, powers of deduction and a lot of guess work to try & predict this years lineup. Here are our predictions for possible headliners...

Elbow
The Cure
The Inspiral Carpets
Noah & the Whale
Deacon Blue
 The Macabees
808 State
Toploader
James
Chesney Hawkes

What do you think?

It must be stressed that we really have not got a clue so please don't book tickets on the strength of this...
